Our Process

Briefing

Using initial discussions with the client we will establish a design brief, ensuring alignment of expectations and general direction.

Research

Working with the design brief in mind we pull together a wide array of inspiration references and conduct market research to better formulate the goal.

Ideation

We ideate a number of concepts using a combination of hand sketching, 3D modelling and image enhancement tools.

Design

Taking the learnings of the previous phases into account we now begin the design phase of the process, narrowing down the references and producing a design that meets the goals of the established brief.

Submission

Having now distilled the ideas into a product design we will present to the client a comprehensive design proposal including an exploration of the origins of the design giving substance and context to the product.

Quotation

Once the design has been approved, we provide a detailed quotation for the product, outlining costs and production considerations. This step ensures transparency and alignment with the client before proceeding further.

Prototyping

Using a range of advanced tools and techniques, we develop mock-up samples to bring the design to life. These may include MDF prototypes, 3D-printed scale models, sectional mock-ups, or full-scale samples, providing tangible insights into the product’s form and function.

Evaluation

Each prototype undergoes rigorous assessment to refine design, finish, hardware, scale, proportions, dimensions, comfort, fit, and functionality. Our goal is to ensure the design not only meets aesthetic expectations but also performs effectively in real-world conditions.

Testing

We conduct both in-house and third-party laboratory testing to validate the product against industry regulations and performance standards. This ensures compliance, safety, and durability before moving into final production.

Refinement

Throughout development, we maintain an iterative approach, continuously refining and adjusting the design in close collaboration with the client. This ensures that the final product is the best possible realization of the original vision, optimized for both performance and production.

Production Initiation

Once the design and development phases are complete and a purchase order is received, we move swiftly into production, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to final product.

Pre-Production Sample

Before full-scale production begins, we create a pre-production sample that incorporates all feedback and refinements from the development phase. This final sample serves as the benchmark for production, ensuring that every detail aligns with the approved design and client expectations. Only once this sample is approved do we proceed with full production.

Production Management

We oversee the entire production lifecycle, closely managing every stage to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to the agreed specifications.

Quality Control & Compliance

Our team is actively present on the factory floor daily, ensuring that vendors strictly follow all specifications. We utilize industry-leading quality control technology to capture real-time, accurate data, allowing us to swiftly identify and address any issues. This proactive approach ensures that every product meets the highest standards of quality and compliance before leaving the production line.

Packaging & Logistics

From packaging design to final delivery, we provide expertise in logistics, ensuring products are packaged securely and shipped efficiently. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our clients.

Client Communication

Throughout the production process, we keep clients informed with weekly updates on the production status as well as inspection reports at various stages of the process. This transparent approach ensures clients remain confident in the progress and final delivery of their product.
